What God Did for Me During Our Daniel/Media Fast

I was in the bathroom fixing my hair when they came like a flood into my mind.  The words rushed in and I couldn't put the curling iron down fast enough to grab pen and paper.  I was so afraid I would forget it all.

I wrote like mad for several minutes and then continued to do so throughout the day.

Three days later a finished children's book was in the final draft in my notebook.  Well, I say "finished".  What I really mean is that I have written the complete book. The words.  And God gave me the ideas for almost every illustration needed.

There is still much work that needs to be done before I will have the finished product in my hands.

  • Contact certain people to acquire a status necessary to obtain due to the nature of the book.

  • Work with an artist on the illustrations. (Currently doing this).

  • Copy wright laws.

  • Etc. and so on...

When I was a little girl, I had a very special person in my life tell me that I should write books because I was a creative storyteller.  Well, maybe in the very near future that will come to pass and
I can present them with my first children's book...

Most importantly, Inspired by God

The Lord has also opened doors for some other writing opportunities and I feel so blessed.  He has filled my heart again with inspiration like I have not had in years.  I give Him all the glory and am looking forward to sharing more of that inspiration with you soon.

Blessings to you and
may you feel the inspiration of the Lord in your life today!

Wonderful how faithful God is to fulfill His promises. We try to limit God to our time schedule, but tend to forget His time is not limited. And He is always faithful. He's never late. ""Them that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." You have waited for Him and He has poured out His anointing.

Thank you, Ladies, and yes, waiting on the Lord has always been the best way in the end! :) It is a hard lesson to go through, but the blessings are worth it!
