I really didn't think we would get what "they" were predicting we would get. After all, it was 40 degrees yesterday morning and had been rainy and in the 50's the days before. That's hardly the right conditions for snow to stick to the ground! But I was wrong.
The rain began to freeze as the temperatures dropped and soon we had beautiful, delicate snow flakes. As we celebrated on the inside and enjoyed the heat, the snowflakes began to get bigger outside and the ground was covered by a sparkling white blanket of snow! Somewhere in the 11:00 hour the kids and Daddy all bundled up and played in the beautiful snow!
A perfect ending to a wonderful day.
