Homemade Baby Wipes

Ready for this next one? How about making your own Baby Wipes?! It is very simple and I love the...smell! You guessed it!

Here is how you do it.

Purchase one roll of Bounty paper towels (the other brands don't work). Cut the roll in half with an electric knife for best results, but a serrated knife will work. Put one of the halved rolls of paper towels in a 1 gallon bucket with a lid. In another bowl, mix together 2 cups of hot water, 2 tbs. of baby oil , 1 tbs. of alcohol and 1 tbs. of baby bath. We use Johnson's Bedtime Bath (for the smell). :)

Stir well then pour it over the paper towels in the bucket. Let it soak for just a minute and then you will be able to remove the cardboard center. Feed the inside corner of the paper towels through an x-shaped slit you have cut in the lid so you can pull out and tear off one "wipe" at a time. It is amazing that this works.

Not only do they smell pleasant, they are also soft for baby's skin.

Saving money!
